I'm Michael McComb, an architectural designer based in Denver, Colorado. I hold a Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Arts with a minor in Art History, and I bring two and a half years of professional experience working across civic, educational, and healthcare projects at Wold Architects and Engineers.
My approach to design is rooted in human experience — how a space feels to move through, how light falls, how a room shapes the way people interact. That sensibility traces back to my background in fine art, where I developed an eye for composition, materiality, and atmosphere that I carry into every project.
Outside of architecture I paint and write music, practices that keep me thinking about how form and feeling intersect. I believe the best buildings, like the best art, hold their meaning quietly — they don't announce themselves, they invite you in.
I'm currently seeking opportunities with firms where design rigor and human impact go hand in hand.
