This competition entry challenges the material norms of downtown Atlanta by introducing a large-scale mass timber intervention. The project integrates complex programmatic requirements—housing, wellness, and retail—into a unified form characterized by a continuous, folding structural ribbon.

Beyond the structural innovation, the project focuses on urban wellness. By strategically dedicating a significant portion of the site to a public, sky-lit green space, the design provides a critical ecological sanctuary for the community. The result is a high-performance building that demonstrates the aesthetic and functional versatility of wood in a bustling metropolitan transit zone.
