In response to evolving security requirements, I managed the comprehensive audit and hardware modernization for 27 educational facilities. The primary objective was the implementation of enhanced lockdown protocols and active-shooter mitigation strategies through specialized hardware integration.

My role involved the field verification of hundreds of openings to ensure every classroom met stringent security standards without compromising Life Safety and ADA egress requirements. I translated this critical site data into a synchronized BIM environment, repopulating door schedules with specific "function" sets designed for rapid, secure access control. This project required a high degree of sensitivity and technical rigor, ensuring that the final "as-built" documentation provided a reliable foundation for the district’s safety infrastructure.
